The challenge

Hazards and incidents were reported informally, so nobody could see which roads were dangerous or reach help quickly.

Incident reporting, driver safety scoring, hazard alerts, emergency SOS and risk analysis to reduce accidents and speed up response.

Our role: Safety platform engineering and analytics

Architecture decisions

SOS path kept independent

The emergency route has its own minimal endpoint and retry logic so it still works when the rest of the app is degraded.

Geospatial hazard clustering

Reports are clustered by location and severity to surface genuine blackspots instead of noise.

Transparent driver scoring

Safety scores are computed from explainable factors, so drivers can see exactly what changed their rating.

Driver safety scoring

Drivers get warned before a blackspot and reach help faster, while operators get the data to act on repeat risk locations.
