Architecture decisions
Single source of truth for stock
One inventory service owns quantities; storefront and counter POS both read it, so an item can never be sold twice.
Offline-tolerant mobile ordering
The customer app queues orders locally and syncs when connectivity returns — essential on intermittent mobile data.
Role-based pharmacy console
Pharmacists, cashiers and administrators see only the operations they are cleared for, with a full audit trail.
